Message from the President - January 2009: It is a "jungle" out there isn't it? I won't even go there. However, things are looking up. With the change of power, I truly believe we will be on the right track and our economy will once again thrive. We definitely have the right product offering, Concrete! Educated consumers are demanding more than the tired look of tile, marble, granite, slate, wood and countless other flooring, wall and countertop options. No other material offers the unique and design flexibility as concrete. We are here to assist you and customers in that concept and design process. We are an exciting organization dedicated to the success of Decorative Concrete Artisans and Installers like you. We invite you to visit our Design Center in Northridge. Please use us as a resource in assisting your customers in realizing their perfect project. We also invite you to attend one of the many classes and workshops from floors and walls, to countertops and mold making. We are having a two day Colormaker workshop on February 12-13. This will be a hands-on, in depth look at concrete prep and repair, Micro-topping and Overlay installation, Integral and Topical Coloring, Sealing and Techniques that will set you apart from your competition. The cost for this class is $299 for the first person, $100 for each person thereafter. This class is limited in size and is filling up fast. Please contact us to reserve your seat. On February 20, we will be offering a Concrete Countertop class. This will be a fast pace, one day class covering Templating, Forming, Molds, Drain Boards, Embedments, Fiber Optics, Integral/Topical Coloring, Mixing/Pouring, Polishing and Sealing.
